We have Multiple facilities in Atlanta Georgia for homeless women with and without children, and for homeless men.
Our kitchen is open 24 hours; this means that we feed newly accepted clients no matter what time of day they arrive.
Our clients meet weekly with the director to discuss their progress in the program. If it is determined that a client needs professional counseling or treatments, referral is made to assist the client. Moreover, the clients are given ample opportunity to participate in various community services.
In addition to feeding, we provide shelter, clothing, personal hygiene accessories, hair dressing, transportation to medical and legal appointments, and mediation in the provision of social benefits. We have Case Management, Peer support-Health and Wellness program, education on interview skills, interpersonal relations, GED assistance, pre-employment and job readiness counseling, HIV Education/Prevention/Testing, and money management skills. Upon successful completion of the program we assist the clients to find permanent housing, while we maintain contact to make sure that assistance will always be available to our former clients and their families.
We provide transportation to clients medical appointments if they are unable to use the Public Transportation. We have family meetings when authorized by the clients.
